“Takeoffs and Landings”

Chris mentioned that we’re happy to be an integral part of the upcoming Onscreen Offspring live theater / film & video hybrid project. Today, there was a news article on the event:

Local filmmakers branch out into one-act plays at Lawrence Arts Center

In addition, we created this video on how we made the 26′ long card board plane set piece for Misti Boland’s play look like it had been crashed. Check it out!

New TAG Work – Two Nights Only

Being filmmakers, it’s not often we offer a totally ephemeral experience to an audience, but that’s exactly what we’re offering  this weekend at Onscreen Offspring. Jeremy and I (as well as Misti Boland, Ranjit Arab, Christie Dobson, Marlo Angell, and Ric Averill) are presenting new productions of original one-act plays. The hook – and the reason we filmmakers are being allowed near the stage – is that each short involves a video element. The use of video ranges from “live video” coverage to dream sequences to additional scenes. There’s comedy, drama, sci-fi, a tribute to silent film and a surreal mix of elements in the aftermath of the apocalypse that you really just have to see for yourself.

The show is at the Lawrence Arts Center this Friday and Saturday (February 3-4) at 7:30. Tickets are available online or at the door, get the info by clicking here.

These two nights are your only shot to see these shows, so hope to see you there!
