This month’s short for Final Friday’s is KC native Jeff Hopkins’ “Draw the Pirate,” a six-minute screwball comedy involving desire, obsession, and several dozen drawings of a pirate. I love this short and I’m glad for the opportunity to share it with Lawrence again. Stop by our offices during your arts journey downtown this coming Friday (September 24th) 5-8pm (1009 New Hampshire, look for the yellow flag). We’ll be showing the film continuously and providing free popcorn and soda . There’s nothing in the movie to harm the kiddies, so feel free to bring ‘em along.
