Announcing TAG Lighting & Grip

We’re excited to announce a new resource for Lighting and Grip equipment in the Midwest: TAG Lighting & Grip.

TAG L&G is offering rentals on professional lighting and grip equipment including HMIs, tungsten units, Kinos, dolly and track, and the full compliment of gripware you would expect on a shoot whether here or in LA, corporate or narrative, industrial/educational or indie feature. Equipment is available ala carte and in packages including 1, 3, and 5-ton truck packages. This truck is a thing of beauty with a layout designed by seasoned pros for efficiency and durability.

Jonathan Breitkreutz is running TAG L&G, and after having made his mark in the grip/electric crews on several feature films and high-profile television programs, he is now available in the Midwest to work your shoots.

See a list of equipment and package prices at TAGlighting.com and give Jon a call about a mileage discount.

30 Seconds to Midnight

Our short film, “30 Seconds to Midnight” has recently been featured in the Kansas City FilmFest, the Bare Bones Film Festival, and the Indie Spirit Film Festival.

This past weekend, it was a featured short in the LAC Short Film Festival, and we’re proud to announce that it won both “Best Cinematography” and “Best Editing”, both services provided in-house by Through A Glass Productions.

Now Taking 2011 Internship Applications

Once again, we are looking for an intern for the warm summer months here at TAG. The rundown:

- Part-time (10-20 hours per week).
- Flexible schedule.
- Paid.
- Opportunity to work on sets and with our top-end film and lighting equipment and/or post-production.
- You WILL work on projects, not just lick envelopes in the office (there may be some envelope-licking also, just not all the time).

Applications are due May 6th. The info on where to send them is in the cover letter here and the application itself is right here.

Happy Summer ya’ll.
