Omaha Film Festival 2012!

We have three movies that will be screening at this year’s Omaha Film Festival!

“Goodnight Jane” – a film we produced, and written and directed by Misti Boland, is playing Friday at 6:15 pm

“Nailbiter” is the second feature from Patrick Rea, and is starting its festival run in Omaha. We provided both on-set and post work for this fun horror feature. Screens Friday night at 8:30.

“The Line” is a film we produced, written and directed by our very own Chris Blunk. It screen Saturday at 5:30 p.m.

If you happen to be in Omaha, we hope to see you there!

“Takeoffs and Landings”

Chris mentioned that we’re happy to be an integral part of the upcoming Onscreen Offspring live theater / film & video hybrid project. Today, there was a news article on the event:

Local filmmakers branch out into one-act plays at Lawrence Arts Center

In addition, we created this video on how we made the 26′ long card board plane set piece for Misti Boland’s play look like it had been crashed. Check it out!

Green Screen Robots and Rock Star Kids

We shot a kid’s show “film within a film” segment for a new project that filmmakers Kendal and Sally Sinn are working on. While we were shooting, we threw our RED MX on a dolly and grabbed this quick behind the scenes shot:

We’ve had a lot of unique and fun shoots during 2011, so it’s exciting to see that trend continue as we move toward the end of the year!
